Applications for scholarships for the 2022-2023 school year are closed.
For students in public college
The college scholarship application can be made using the National College Scholarship Application Form or online from September 1 to October 20, 2022 inclusive.
The online college scholarship application is accessible for all public colleges of all academies. To access it, parents or student leaders must connect to the Education-Services portal from September 1, 2022 to October 20, 2022 inclusive .
As a parent of students, you will be able to:
- make a request for one or more children enrolled in the same public college;
- directly retrieve your tax data necessary for processing the request without attaching supporting documents;
- give your consent to update your tax information each year during your child’s schooling in college: in this case, you will no longer need to apply for a grant each year;
- get an estimate of the purse at the end of the entry.
You have two options for accessing Education-Services :
- log in with your EduConnect account ;
- connect with FranceConnect: the button that allows you to access the online services of National Education and other public services using your Impots.gouv.fr account, or your Health Insurance account or digital identity , or Mobile Connect and me, or msa.fr.

For students enrolled in private establishments under contract
For students enrolled in private establishments under contract or authorized to receive national scholarships, the scholarship application will be made only using the college scholarship application form downloadable below.

Once completed, where to submit the scholarship application form?
For public and private establishments, the scholarship applicant must file or send the form, along with the necessary supporting documents, to the secretariat of the children’s college.
If your child is educated in a private establishment (and only in this case), you can give a power of attorney to the head of the establishment where your child is educated to authorize him to collect, on your behalf, the amount of the grant.
For students enrolled at the National Center for Distance Education (CNED)
For students continuing their education at the CNED, the scholarship application is made using the form available here .
The applicant must file or send the form, along with the necessary supporting documents, to the CNED’s National Scholarships Academic Service .

Calendar for the school year 2022-2023
The college scholarship application campaign for the 2022-2023 school year will be open from the start of the school year until:
- October 20, 2022 for public educational establishments and private establishments, whether the scholarship application is made online or on paper form;
- October 31, 2022 for students enrolled in the national center for distance education: the scholarship application must be sent either to the CNED of Rouen for general education classes, or to the CNED of Toulouse for general education classes and professional fit.
Allocation of scholarships
Scholarships are awarded for one academic year. They are broken down into 3 levels, depending on the resources of the person or persons taking charge of the pupil and the number of dependent children.
Don’t forget to file your tax return! It is necessary for the calculation of your rights!
The resources and the number of dependent children are justified by the income tax notice. For the 2022-2023 school year, the reference tax income from the 2022 tax notice on income for the year 2021 is used .
The ceiling of resources not to be exceeded to benefit from the grant is that provided by the scale below.
Scale and amount of national college scholarships – 2022-2023 school year
To help low-income families cope with the consequences of inflation, the government is increasing the national college scholarship by 4%.
Status of applicants
The applicant for the grant is “the person or persons who assume effective and permanent responsibility for the student within the meaning of the legislation on family benefits”, it is the notion of household (people living together under the same roof) which is considered :
- In the event of cohabitation, the income of the 2 cohabitants will be taken into account;
- In the case of shared residence of the pupil, it is no longer the income of the two parents of the pupil which is taken into account but that of the applicant for the grant, or the income of his blended household.
The number of dependent children is the number of minor or disabled children and the number of single adult dependent children, mentioned on the tax notice.
Amount of scholarships
For the 2022-2023 school year, the annual amount of the scholarship will be €111 (1st level), €306 (2nd level) and €477 (3rd level). This amount is paid in three instalments (every quarter)

Boarding school bonus
This bonus is intended for all college scholarship students attending boarding schools.
The boarding school bonus is modulated according to the scholarship level held by the scholarship student. It is paid in three instalments at the same time as the scholarship. Families do not have a specific file to fill out.
The annual amount of the internship bonus will be €327 (1st level), €396 (2nd level) and €465 (3rd level).

High school scholarships

High school scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in high school and in regional adapted education establishments (EREA) .
Applications for scholarships for the 2022-2023 school year are closed.
Allocation of scholarships
The scholarships are divided into 6 levels, depending on the resources of the person(s) responsible for the student and the number of dependent children.

For the year 2022-2023, the annual amount of the scholarship varies between €459 for the first level and €972 for the sixth level. This scholarship amount is paid in three instalments (every term).

- First period: from May 30 to July 6, 2022

To make an online request, parents or student leaders must connect to the Scolarité–Services portal from May 30 to July 6, 2022 .
As a parent of students, you will be able to:
- make a request for each of your children enrolled in a public college or EREA;
- print or download an acknowledgment of receipt;
- make an estimate of your right to scholarship at the end of the seizure.

Please note: students who already have high school scholarships who wish to report a change in family situation, orientation or academy must contact the school establishment to find out the procedure to follow. For these students, a new scholarship application does not have to be submitted.

For students who continue their education in private establishments under contract
The application for a high school scholarship will be made using the downloadable form below to:
- Pupils in 3rd grade in a private college who continue their studies in a second degree class in a private high school under contract or authorized to receive national scholarships at the start of the 2022-2023 school year;
- Non-scholarship students enrolled in a private high school under contract or authorized to receive national scholarships;

For students enrolled at the National Center for Distance Education (CNED)
For students continuing their studies at the CNED, the application for a high school scholarship is made using the form available at https://www.cned.fr/eleve/les-modalites-de-demande-de-bourse -in high school
The applicant must submit or send the form, along with the necessary supporting documents, to the CNED’s National Scholarships Academic Service.

For students who wish to continue their studies in one of the 6 high schools of the Ministry of Defense
The military high school of Saint-Cyr-l’École, the military high school of Aix-en-Provence, the military high school of Autun, the national military high school of La Flèche, the naval high school of Brest and the School of the pupils of the air of Grenoble.
Students who apply to continue their education under scholarship status in one of the 6 military high schools under group III must follow a specific procedure to submit their scholarship application. For more information, contact the military high school of application.
Additional bonuses to the scholarship allocated according to the scholar’s education
Equipment bounty
Amounting to 341.71 euros , it is paid in one go with the first quarter of the scholarship to first-year students of certain specialties of CAP, vocational baccalaureate, technological baccalaureate or technician’s patent. This bonus is allocated automatically according to the training specialty.
Boarding school bonus
This bonus is granted to all national scholarship students enrolled in boarding schools.
The boarding school bonus is modulated according to the scholarship level held by the scholarship student.
Families do not have to fill out an application, this bonus is automatically awarded to internal scholarship students. It is subject to the same management rules as the stock exchanges. The premium is paid in three instalments by deduction from the bill for pension costs.
For internal high school scholarship students, the annual amount of the bonus varies from €327 (1st level) to €672 (6th level).
